If that is you in the picture, thanks. We are all getting to be pretty good friends, here, and it helps to see faces. John PS. As an idea, we could submit to one of our photo galleries (you know who you are) a snap of us and our car(s). |

That is a great idea.... |

If anyone is interested in sending me a photo that shows as much of you as it does the car, I will put up a little photopage! Make sure you use the name you use here on the forum and I will add it to the photo itself! The weekend is coming up...get out there and have someone take the shot! |

I contemplated all the reasons why my left semaphore doesn't move unlesss I "tweek" it with a small screwdriver prompting it to go up...Right side goes up fast and sure..That's how I spent this beautful day in sunny California...Couldn't figure it out...Makes me crazy....Hope you all had better days today... |

Marvin Sorokin First find someone who has a clip-on DC ammeter. Measure the current on each side. If you find that the current to the left side is less, then the problem is electrical supply. If it is essentially the same on both sides then you will have to remove the left unit and work on the mechanism. There are little parts that have slip back into place for it work properly. It's been a while since I've worked on those things and I didn't take any pictures (shame on me). Keep us informed of your progress. Bob |

If it pops out with a screw driver, could it be the casing causing interference? When you turn it on does the amp meter drop...or does it drop when you use the screwdriver? |
