MG TD TF 1500 - installing new air cleaners on td
the radiator support pass. side gets in the way of new air cleaners i want to install(pancake). any suggestions on moving it. thanks les |

When I bought my TD the RH radiator support was bent. I thought it was by accident. Turns out it was bent to accommodate pancake air filters. I believe that was the common practice to clear the pancakes. I've installed the original air cleaner and intake plenum and have no need to bend the rod. Tim TD12524 |

Frank, are those for the MGA 1.5" carburetors that I rebuilt a few years ago? |

I moved the rod down on the front (radiator) end to make space for the filters. There are enough holes on the radiator frame to find the best position. Some length adjustment is probably needed. Rgds Mike |
