MG TD TF 1500 - LED instrument lights in the TF

I have treated Vera to a set of led bulbs for the instrument lighting. Light is brighter, whiter and better dispersed than with the old style bulbs. Not as white as picture indicates, but they make the instruments more readily readable in the dark for an elderly adolescents eyes, and add a bit of premium" air to the dashboard. Got them from Staffordshire vehicle components in the UK, pricey at 9 pounds each, but not more than four 20-packs of cigarettes here in Norway, and I dont smoke .......

Looks great and certainly more readable.
I opted for green though (LEDs as well) - better fit with the greenish TD instruments. Not as bright though.

Smoking can be fun from time to time if you donīt do it too regularly ;-). With all the anti smoking campaigns and regulations I like the occasional smoke just "in spite"

I think it is Stafford Vehicle Components, whose LED bulbs are not polarity-sensitive! £7 each.

I have LED instrument lights, but "idiot lights" by nature, rather than gauge backlighting. Water temp (red), oil pressure (red blinking), generator (dim red, LED down in shrink tube), low fuel (green LED "go to gas station"), back up lights (yellow LED), heater ON (blue LED), driving lights (white).
Today, wife took off in MG and immediately called me then hung up. Message-"green light came on, running out of gas, and it started stalling."
I called back "Pull out the other pump switch!!!!" (...the backup/reserve Facet pump with 3 gallons + 3 quart reserve).
Called her back again, "Pull out the other pump switch!"
She answered,"Don't worry, some guys pushed me off to the side!(hang up)"
I scream "Pull out the other pump switch!!!!!"
Called her back again, "Pull out the other pump switch!"
She called back "It started again so I'm going to get gas! (hang up)" "Pull out the other pump switch!" I screamed!!!
Called her back again, "Pull out the other pump switch!"
She answered "I'm going to get gas!(hang up)"
...I scream "Pull out the other pump switch!" as she hangs up.

Good thing there's a 3 3/4 gallon reserve/backup pump with a green LED idiot light!!!!!?!!???!!?

Tom, you are right about the company name. Here is a URL directly to the bulbs. My car is neg ground by now (Racemettled alternator, halogen lights, usb music amplifier etc.) but these bulbs are probably not polarity sensitive. They are however rather brittle, one just crumbled between my finger when trying to screw it in to its holder. Still have two more for 2/3 idiot lights on the shelf.

I have an 8 watt bulb in my 3 in 1 gauge from: dmagee@ij.net. Only $5.00 and it works very well.
