MG TD TF 1500 - License plate holder or what?
This was in one of the many boxes of pieces and parts that came with little T. It looks like a license plate holder but not sure what the two mounting brackets are suppose to mount to. Does anyone know if this is for the front or back or not a TD at all. Regards, Rich |

Here is a picture of the other side showing the mounting brackets.

That looks like the rear plate bracket on my '67 MGBGT. The TD plate holder is made up of two or three pieces plus the "S" arm into the spare tire holder. |

Absolutely. Same as my 67 GT |

Ok, MGB it is then. Anybody need a MGB plate holder. It looks kinda bad in the picture but its only got surface rust on it. It had more paint on it when I first got it but for some reason it rusted right under the paint which crumbled into dust and flakes off every time you handle it but a quick blast in the cabinet and a little paint would make it look new. Hi Rich Happy to take it off your hands. Anything you need for the TD that I might trade you for? I have a visit with the powder coater coming up and can have that refinished and looking fantastic. Bruce Cunha Bruce dot Cunha At charter dot com |

Hi Bruce, Something small and simple I need is the little T-shaped bracket with the rubber isolators that bolts onto the horns. I have one but somehow through the years and many moves of parts one is missing. Or maybe a couple rebuildable rear brake cylinders. I know they are available new but I plain to have everything in my brake system lined with either SS or brass considering how much my car will be sitting idle. If not just send me your address and I will mail it to ya:) Regards, Rich |

Not trying to jump in on Bruce but if he does not have the cyls I do and could trade if you want. I was thinking about having mine sleeved but am not sure how to go about doing it. Once I do, the extras I have will be available. |

Vince you could have the cyls you want sleeved at either Apple Hydraulics or White Post Restorations. After research I think I am going with WP because they sleeve with brass. Regards, Rich |
