Add to your list: update the BBS -- we are all having great fun "virtually" working on your car. Thanks for sharing! What is a rear access maple support? Regards, Dennis |

When you change the rear end oil you have to remove that piece of plywood in the center... it rests and is bolted to a piece of 15"x2"x1/2" ash on each side that is the support for the ply. I broke one of mine taking off the access panel. (did save the bolts/screws and little threaded pieces so i can reuse them.) Cut a piece of maple this morning and will get it in tonight. Glad you are enjoying the virtual rebuild... its certainly been a learning experience for someone not normally with a wrench in his hand. |

Gordon;; Change the wrench to a WENCH and you might bite off more than you want to chew. Stick with the wrench.I enjoy your trip in our MG world. Keep this as a motto, USE-ENJOY-BUT PRESERVE. Do not change the sequence. Sandy |

Ahhh... nope, never again... worse with those then wrenches. I plan to use and enjoy and preserve... figure i'm just taking care of it for the next guy, who should take care of it for the next and so on...... |
