MG TD TF 1500 - Lucas Fender lights

I have just come across three NOS King of the Road Lucas Fender Lights that have never been used.
The chrome ring/lens is exactly the same as the fender lights on a TC/TD/TF but the body behind it is painted black and is a bit shorter in fact it looks like a baby headlight, does anyone know what is it from.

This type of sidelamp was used on many British cars both pre and post war. It was never used on T series. They are available from the Complete Automobilist and Paul Beck, both with web sites. Terry
