MG TD TF 1500 - Lucas What is it

I bought a bunch of TD parts and this was in the box. I know it is not from a TD, but was wondering if anyone knows what it is.

It says L785 Lucas on the lenses, I have not found any other information on the case.

Ok, The internet is such a wonderful thing. I put in L785 Lucas and up it pops.

It is a Lucas Reversing light. Used on the MK1 Mini and on Lambretta and Vespa Scooters (a reversing light on a scooter?).

Vespa made a small 3 wheel delivery van based on the scooter called the A.P.E. but I don't know if it had a reverse. The early ones are very collectable.

Interesting light. It goes by the Owl light. I can see that. It works well. It has two Y shaped lightbulbs inside it. It cleaned up really well.

I did find this picture of it in use.

Now to figure out what I should list it for sale for? The UK ebay has the one for 150 pounds or 188 dollars.

Are they really that valuable?

Like us, the scooter owners want period extras for their bikes. There are many scooter clubs and rideouts in the Uk.
I went to a socially distanced meet (MG) last Sunday and a scooter group turned up to meet us.
