MG TD TF 1500 - Maintenance program software?
I searched through the archives but could not find anything... does anybody use a automobile log maintenance program and if so which one? I'd like to set something up with reminders in Windows... There's a bunch of freeware out there, most of it pretty ugly looking. Recommendations? Thanks! |

A gent from this forum developed just such an app for T series a while back. Not sure what happened to it? Anyone? Ed |

I know Chris' work. However, I was looking for something that would set calendar reminders. Haven't found anything yet... |

Someone might be able to develop such an app, but it would have to be based on date intervals. The last time I checked there are no mileage indicators on my calendar. |

On your smartphone, you can use the calendar app to set up almost any schedule you want. On a windows computer you can use outlook, if you have it, to do the same. If you do not have OFFICE you can download Thunderbird and Lightening, free from Mozilla. That gives you the equivalent of Outlook, combining a calendar and scheduler along with an email client. Again, as noted, these would be a time based reminder/scheduler rather than a mileage based one. Jim B. |

Mr. Baker is looking for something Windows based, but if someone is looking for a smartphone app, I use Car Minder and I've been pretty pleased with it. There are others. |

I've never seen anything that works better than a pen and paper. |

I built a simple excel file based on the maintenance recommendations of the workshop manual. Laurent. |
