MG TD TF 1500 - MGTD MKII
I dare say that this vehicle is NOT a MKII. Also I know it is a re-listing! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31858&item=4532315694&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW Greg & Grimm |

GJ- it appears to have the right side hood bulge, the large air cleaner manifold, the 1-1/2" carbs (three screw dashpots), and the correct serial # (TD/C). Would need to see if the extra shocks or brackets are there or not. George |

Yeah, and the numbers only match the reproduction number plate that's held on by 2 non-original screws. I guess this guy doesn't know that the MKII had a TD3 engine number? |

ooops! TD3 wasn't used until engine 17029. Maybe it's the real deal... |

Shouldn't the front badge be black & white? I didn't see any pictures which show the dual fuel pumps... Scott |

As far aas I can tell, it is a Mk II. The Black & White did not come along until 1953. It IS a relisting. It has been a little mangled with the plates and screws but they are the original type misallignment of letters. His previous listing had the sad story of the broken Crankshaft, too. It went to $8,100 but did not make reserve. One of our number was offered it but had too many commitments. |
