MG TD TF 1500 - mgtf immobiliser type

I have just bought a 2002 mgtf and when I came to transfer the insurance I told them it had an immobiliser. The company wanted to know what type so I just said it's the standard one, but they need to know exact details. I looked in the handbook but couldn't find anything. Could anybody help with either the name (and category) or where to get the details.

For questions peculiar to the NEW MG TFs, you are on the wrong section. WE are of the (very) old type - 1950s era cars,

I had an "SU immobiliser" ...but John Twist "de-activated" it a few years ago when he re-built my carbs! I think I could re-create it though....long as I can find my hammer, blow-torch, and a couple of pints of rust.
