MG TD TF 1500 - MGTF widshield wiper components commonality

I'm working with a friend who just acquired a fairly complete mgtf. Two areas of need for assistance at the moment.
1. The car does not have any componentry for the wiper system at all. Does anyone know if the MGA hardware is downwards compatible or as an alternate, any available MGTF hardware in used spares out there?

2. There is not a Tachometer in the car at present, Any spares out there to be had at reasonable costs?

MGA is different, but I use an MGA wiper motor on my TF.
