MG TD TF 1500 - Michael Jackson's TF?

Ok today we have a 1954 TF which is "rumored" to have belonged to Michael Jackson? You would think that the seller would list it as a 1250 or 1500, but no the biggest thing is MJ. owned it. I wonder if he gave the children at Neverland a ride in it? Slow day cleaning the engine compartment, John

I know the seller...nice guy...knows and loves MG's, especially T-series. I've seen this car in his workshop (he never related the MJ rumor to me at the time though) and it's nice. If it were a 1500 he'd have stated it (as would any other 1500 seller).

I know the seller of this car as well. He is a straight shooter and good guy and definitely knows his stuff. I'd take him at his word for whatever he says on any car he sells....

I bought a late TD engine from Paul just over a year ago. Drove 6 hours to his house for pickup. He has a beautiful shop full of an assortment of MGs.

I also ran into him again at MG 2006. I concur with Gene & Rob above.

The T Register number 175 for this car was originally issued to Dr. Bill Tully. I remember seeing the car and Bill at GOF's way back then. My TD is number 185.
I thought with such an early number I must have known the owner at that time.
