MG TD TF 1500 - MKII...ebay
Sent "Old Joe" and email asking to clarify his serial numbers posted on: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=ADME%3AL%3ARTQ%3AUS%3A1&viewitem=&item=260117212322 and he sent back: "Dear Sir, I have found the numbers on the front of the tool box (drivers side), as requested. THE CAR NO.# TD/C 17497 EXL/NA ENG. #XPAG TD 3 17535, The MG Car Company LTD. Abingdon on Thames ENGLAND. There is also a tag that reads: Certain parts of this car are protected by the following Brittish Patents and registered design. Thank you for your question and have a Great Mothers Day Weekend from Old Joes Unique Antiques." Sent him an email mentioning he should add the 'MkII' designation to the auction! |

The MG emblem on the front bumper is interesting. Is it the same emblem & bumper that was used on the late EXU TC's? |

Someone converted it over to a single fuel pump. But otherwise not a bad TDII. I have seen the front emblem on other TD's. IMHO, items like that are what are fun to find. TD owners love to customize their car. |
