MG TD TF 1500 - Mystery Carb

Amongst my mg spares I a have a carb body that I can not identify. It is identical to those on my TD except that it is slightly longer.
It has a 1 1/4 inch bore and is 4 13/16 inches long. Stamped on the side is PDC 3229 Q.
I have searched the internet, including the Burlen site, with no success. Can anyone tell me the exact application for this carb. Thanks. Tim
