MG TD TF 1500 - New Sreering Wheel 53 TD
I want to buy a new wood steering wheel & Adapter hub. I am thinking of Moss # 454-245 & 454-327 does anyone have a better idea or place to buy? --Thanks Curt |

Well now, Nardis' are authinic, better made , prety, and impossible to find hubs for. Since TDF owners have a desire to do everything the hard way, this would be a good choice. Dave#1. 55TF15. |

Why not make one? The process is not difficult and the result can be quite nice. |

I can attest to Michael's home made steering wheel being a nice piece of work and can send anyone the article Michael wrote for our Register's newsletter on how to make your own wooden steering wheel if he hasen't saved the article himself. Cheers - Dave |

I just installed the Moss 14 inch steering wheel in my 1950 TD. I love it. The adapter fit perfectly, and the wooden wheel looks great. There is now room for my knees and it is easier to get into the car. I adapted the old center piece to fit in where the horn button goes. The car is still easy to turn. Don't know why they originally put in such a large diameter wheel. Tom |
