MG TD TF 1500 - nothing to report
Hi Friends, an oil change in November 2010 was the only task this winter. Last weekend at beautiful weather condition I made the first drive in 2011. Engine starts perfect and everything runs well. I love this little car! Cheers Guenter, back from Hibernation |

hello Guenther, i can image the great feelings although for me it is still a little bit ahead. Your car looks great and so does the scenery behind that fence. That houseowner most be jalous because your car would fit beautifully on the other side of the fence in front of that classical house/castle. I noticed your car has a light uppolstery and also a light tonneau and also light hood? Question: is that light tonneau and hood sensitive for dirt of dirthy fingers? Is it doable to keep it clean? Greetings, schoenen gruss aus Holland, Huib |

Huib, I also have the light tan and it is sadly sensitive to dirty fingers...I especially forget after working on the car!! Not all that difficult to clean...any good fabric cleaner...I use a Fuller canvas cleaner... http://www.fullerdirect.com/products_detail.asp?cat=1&subcat=7&ID=2052 |

Huib, yes, Bob is right, it is sensitive. The uppolstery is not so critical if you keep it protected witha good leather cream. The tonneau when it was dirty I gave it into a laundromat and they could manage it into the large machine. For the Hood I use warm wather, canvas cleaner and a brush as Bob described. After cleaning the canvas I use an Impregnation spray to make it dirt repellent. Anyway, it looks great! Cheers, Guenter |
