MG TD TF 1500 - One more time
I thank all those responded to my question as to the type of distributor I have in this 54 TF. THe pics have not been very good. I have tried one more time. If this pic is any better maybe it will answer my question. Thanks Bud W |

Hi Bud, That looks like a "High Lift" type to me... Compare it to the images of the three types that I have attached andf it seems to match up with the position of the "notch" relative to the high point of the cam for the "High Lift" type... Cheers, Rod Macleod - '55 TF1500 - HDB46/6798 ("Molly") |

Hi-Lift would be my best guess also! Make sure you order the correct Pertronic's for "Poss or Negg" ground for your car ...or you will have $100 worth of "toast"! Cheers, David |

from the position of the rotor notch it can only be high lift or assymetric. use this link and scroll down to view the WSM drawing. regards, tom http://www.british-cars.org/mgtd-mgtf1500-bbs/distributor-cam-profiles-2010112422550021228.htm |
