MG TD TF 1500 - Original TD records

I've recently received my BMIHT cert for my AH Sprite, and thought it would be a nice treat to find something similar for my mothers TD, as a gift. Does such a certificate exist?
My mother bought her TD new when she was 16, and still owns it. It's in a bad state of repair, and soon I'll get around to the rebuild.
I was directed to this site by the BMIHT, with the thoughts that someone here might be able to direct me to any known records. I was informed the records might have been destroyed in the early 50's, but some may still exist.

Sorry but records for the TD were not kept/saved. This process started with the mgtf. You can find production information here:

This is one of the only known surving windshield cards that documented my car and 5 others:

As you can see from the production information my car (chassis 19629) was produced in Sept of 1952. From the shipping card it was ordered on Sept 17th and shipped on Sept 23rd.

Dan,

If you contact the MG Car Club T reister in England there is a guy that can furnish you with a copy of the original factory guarantee for your mothers car if you send him some money and the chassis number.

I think that these are the only documents that are available for our cars.
