MG TD TF 1500 - Paxaline Insulation Blocks
Neil Cairns in "Living with the XPAG" engine suggests installing paxaline insulation blocks by the carbs to assist in dealing with fuel vapor locks. Does anyone know what paxaline insulation blocks are and if (and where) they are still available? Ed Eastman 1954 mgtf |

Ed, I would guess they are a spacer that would be installed to move the carbies a bit farther away from the exhaust manifold,,,probably like black bakelite material,, SPW |

They are standard on TF's which have 1 1/2 inch carbs. Look at the diagrams in the Moss Catalog to see what they look like. Will they fit the 1 1/4 inch manifold and carb?? Check with Joe Curto to see if he has 1 1/4 inch versions. |
