MG TD TF 1500 - Pedal Box
Just curious what the three holes are for next to the master cylinder hole (2 above 3/16" an one to the left about 3/4"). Maybe to retrieve clutch stop screws? Thanks Mike |

Hi Mike, I was just looking at a shot of my pedal box that I had on file and I do not see the holes that are on yours. Hope this helps. Phil

Mike, Looks like the two smaller holes do exist, as can be seen from a pic borrowed from Dave B's site. Still don't know what there purpose is, however. The larger 3/4" hole may also exist and is just not visible in the picture which I prevoiusly submitted The idea that it might be used to feed the electrical harness through crossed my mind, but I cannot confirm. Cheers Phil

Thanks Phil. Wouldn't be for a harness as there's no outlet. With the master cylinder in place it's really blocked. Someone may have had a bad day on the assembly line. Mike |

The large hole is in my 55 as well. Same position. PJ |
