MG TD TF 1500 - POLY SPRING PADS
Does any one know a manufacturer of POLY Rear Spring PADS? (Preferably in the US) I can find plenty of POLY bushings, but not the PADS,,,, Thanks, SPW |

Steve, Try John James of T-Type 2, he was selling sets of pads. http://ttypes.org/ttt2/contact Regards, Jim |

Think I used readily available poly pads for a late midget when I built mine. Dan |

Steve John James only does bushes not pads. Try Superpro Bushes. An Oz company that has a number of distributors across North USA. Just ordered a set of bushes for the TD and fitting a sway bar at the same time. Regards Mick |

When clicking onto the poly bush site above, when you ask for spridget spring pads, the same part # comes up. So the Moss poly pads for the spridget will work for the T series. I would ask Moss 1st. These will complete my poly suspension. |

Hi Steve, I guess I never showed you the ones I made out of Molybdenm disulfide impregnated teflon. Maybe Marv Stewart can tell you about them. Unfortunately I don't have access to a lathe at the moment or I would make you a set. Mine are working fine and I expect they will last for the life of my TD. They are really quite simple to make. John James does make pads as well as bushings. Bought a set earlier this year, but have not gotten round to install them yet. Mike |
