After 2 units burned out, newer literature states; ... coils in four cylinder engines require a minimum of 3.0 ohms of resistance. (primary side, all wires removed) They were replaced no charge. |

Len, How is the best way to check out the coil. I have had a pertronics in my TF since my restoration with no problems, yet, but I have never checked the coil! Thanks and have a good day! John |

Attach an ohm meter between the CB & SW terminals, with no other wires connected to the coil. |
