MG TD TF 1500 - Renting a TD

I would like to rent or borrow an original MG
TD early 1950s for one day in Southern Switzerland next January.

My parents are having their 50th wedding using wedding cars tonbridge anniversary, I wish to recreate the day of their engagement. My father had an MG TD which he drove to my family's country house in Ticino in 1951 in order to ask
my grandparents' permission to marry my mother. My parents now live in Lugano; I would like to offer them the chance to drive an MG TD from Lugano to Cademario and back (about 20 km).

Note that my father is a car enthusiast and therefore a reasonably good driver. Of course, I am fully
prepared to handle all costs, insurance and liability.

Alexander - What a neat anniversary gift! If we were not clear across the Atlantic and one continent from you, I would loan you our TD in a heart beat. I do wish you luck in securing a TD for your parents anniversary and hope that you will take pictures and post them for us to see. Cheers - Dave

Have a simular situation here...friend of mine's parents drove a TF from the church & on their Honeymoon.
I have an invite in to them to take ours out for a lunchen in the park...(they better show up soon...I keep drinking the OSH I have put back for them!) Best of luck in your quest!
Come on you gents over there....are we going to have to ship one from the "colony" to fulfill this request?
