MG TD TF 1500 - Restoration COMPLETE! :)
Well we finally did it! Almost 10 years after we started, the car is complete. Oh yeah there will be things I add, but all the major components of the car are complete. Official completion was last month, but I just updated my restoration website today. I thought I would share it again with those of you that have not seen it before or for those that want to see the latest. Next week is The Forest Grove Concours here in the Portland area and I am hoping for 1st in class. Fingers crossed! Thank you for everyone on this site that has helped contribute to my project in one way or another. http://www.mgtd.co.nr Thanks to everyone, Rich King |

Congratulations....Now , park it in the living room, 'cause it's too nice to drive! (LOL!) Amazing that you stuck to it for 10 years...I didn't stick to my first wife that long! Edward |

Rich, I know how good it feels to have completed such a long term project. Congratulations on an excellent job: Beautiful TD indeed. Good luck at the Forest Grove Concours. Will you be at the Portland ABFM? I'll be there with my TF. John '54 mgtf 0781 "Meeker" |

Looks great Rich I note you list it as a 1952. Is that by MG documents or by registration. Only reason I ask is that my TD is #4139 and has a build date of November 1 1950. I take it you have a Temperature gauge in the horn slot? |

Congratulations Rich! Ten years well used! |

The car looks great! Nice job and congratulations! Frank |

Bruce, Yes it is a 52' based on registration. Build date of 8732 was June or July of 1951. That is correct I have a temp gauge where the horn/dipper switch would go. It had been that way since the 60's so I left it as is. I believe this to be a very common practice back in the day. Rich |
