MG TD TF 1500 - Rubber components
We all know that after a couple of years the rubber on our cars seem to split and deteriorate. This I feel could be the result of rubber products made in China. Can anyone recommend a company who has good quality rubber products. Many thanks, John |

John Contact Declan. I trialed some of his products under Aussie conditions, you wont find anything of equivalent quality elsewhere. The Archive will reveal images of his products and my dialogue with him. Graeme |

Declan, first let me say "Thank you" for such excellent and dedicated work that will benefit the MG community for a great many years. Really - thanks!! Folks like you make owning and driving these cars a real possibility, and that's a joy to a great many of us. What I am wondering is if you have a list of what you offer and prices? I see some in threads here on the forum but I'm not sure if those prices are current, or if you have stock currently, and I think you may have manufactured more items than is in the thread referenced here. Do you have a website or may I request you post a list? I'm interested in buying but I'd like to do so in one shipment. Thanks again!! |

Declan have you considered making the rubber pad which fits under the headlight to mudguard bracket. I guess demand would be one of the considerations which would determine your decision. Thanks...John |

John, I was more concerned with the front suspension kingpin and fulcrum pin seals as nobody wants to have to dismantle the suspension every year. The rubber pads on the wings under the headlamp brackets that I got from B&G have held up quite well. Regards Declan |

Declan, Many thanks for your reply. The reason I ask is that in Australia the sun has very high UV rays prematurely drying out the rubber. Good to know that B&G can supply a reasonable product. John |

The other rubber part that could be useful are the sets of pads for the rear shackles. Another PITA to replace. |

Chris, I can supply them in Polyurethane-no problem. How many do you need? I am also working on a mould for the shackle bushes. Regards Declan |

There might be a misunderstanding here. I mean the rectangular pads on the outside of the springs http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/shop-by-model/mg/t-type/steering-suspension/rear-suspension/rear-suspension-td-tf.html Item 20 not the round pads (22)between the leaves. Regards Declan |

What about #21? You skipped those. :-) |
Christopher Couper |
Item, 21-I'm afraid not. Regards Declan |
