MG TD TF 1500 - Salvage Hunters Classic Cars MG TD

Did anyone see the "upgrading" of the TD in the Salvage Hunters Classic Cars edition on Quest last night? They paid £18,000 for a reasonable LHD TD that did need some refurbishment and painted the wings, wheels and headlamps black (rest of the car green ), fitted a aluminium sheet dashboard, replaced the radiator slats with wire mesh, fitted aero screens and fitted a TC steering wheel. The final cost, including purchase was £21,500 and they hoped to sell it for £23,500 but this did not happen on the show. However go to the UK Gumtree site and search for MG, subcategory Any and you will see something interesting.

Yes I saw thw program They paid over the odds for an average TD and spent a lot of money reducing its value
I couldn't find it on Gum tree Was it advertised there? if so for how much?
