MG TD TF 1500 - Seeking info on childrens TF amazing toy cars

I have been contacted by a lady in England who would like to find out anything about these two amazing little electric powered childrens TF's that she has. There are no obvious brand names to be found but she thought the name Sunnydays rang a bell. Thats her real TF alongside. Anybody know of these? (They are not for sale, I already asked).

Cheers,
Matthew.

And a rear view.

Don't know who built them, but that certainly looks like a vintage Lawsonian steering wheel.
S. R. Ashworth

Is there a "1500" version with wire wheels? LOL
Sweet lil' buggers ...hope you find some info on them.
David Sheward

Very nice. With electric power I would say from 1970 on, but could be earlier.
Bruce Cunha

Matthew, what she has there are battery-powered cars, manufactured in England by "Sunny Day Cars".

I have a series of photos of this type of toys on my new web site which will be up and running this week.

Thank you Steve. Let me know the web address when it is up and running.

Cheers,
Matthew.

Matthew,
Googling around, I came across this auction listing for a Sunny Days Car: www.liveauctioneers.com/item/3469674

The address will be the same as before, http://www.mgnuts.com but the site will be new. Visit the main MG page of the site and there will be a link to "Pedal Cars" which will include the electric ones as well. The site will be online this weekend.

Found this on a UK site: http://1-most-watched-in-the-uk.collectors101.net/post/430120/collectable-model-car.aspx

Made in 1992, 5 MPH max speed and asking price £2k. I think what you have are far better quality and probably a lot older

BTW, Matthew. Whereabouts was your shot taken? From the stone houses, it looks like the Yorkshire Dales, or somewhere close in the Pennines. Like the snowplough blades in the background, lying around - "just in case".

Thank you Tom, Steve and JB.

The lady does not wish to give her location so we can only guess. I keep looking to see if James Herriot is popping up in the photos.

Cheers,
Matthew.
