MG TD TF 1500 - seeking lost love
On October 18, 1952, I bought a 1952 MG TD from Walt Black Motors in Sunnyside, Washington, it was my daily driver and my weekend racer for a couple years. When my wife became so pregnant she couldn't get in it, or out of it, can't remember which, I traded the great little car off for a Ford Raunchwagon. You talk about the stupidity of youth. For a portion of the time I owned this MG I worked as partsman at British Car Sales of Seattle. The car was as nice as cost plus ten percent parts could make it. It had a dished Brooklands steering wheel, the only one I have ever seen. Anyway the MG's serial number is TD/13674 and the motor number was XPAG/TD2/14045, its serial number was 955. I would like to know if this car has survived the years and if so I would like to hear from its owner as I still have the original paper that accompanied the car from England. |
