MG TD TF 1500 - Slightly Off-topic//Is It My Computer/Server Or...
has this site started loading a lot quicker? For the past couple of months it took forever (well, a wee bit of time) to be able to open a topic. Today it's like a normal internet site. Just wondering if anyone else is noticing a change or if this is a local phenomena? Gene Gillam Saucier, MS |

GENE: Just the opposite. Here in New Jersey, for the past couple of weeks, I have noticed that the site loads demonstrably slower, and have wondered why. The Computer Gods, probably. RUSS YOUNG |

Same here in eastern North Carolina, much slower in the last couple of weeks. |

GENE For me here in Florida it depends on the time of day. Prior to 6 AM it is fast but between 8 am and 2 pm it is slow. then again it slows down around 6-9 PM. Sandy Sanders |

Gene, There was a lengthy thread on this in midget General. Yes, the MGCars.org server was having issues. Mike Plumstead has now implemented some changes that have made a welcome and dramatic improvement. David "No TD in my garage, darn it" Lieb |

This site has been very slow for several months for me but this morning it's pretty quick. Still not lightening fast, but no longer painful to use. |

Gene, I hope to think it is outstanding service from AT&T/BellSouth. |

Have noticed the same over the last few months...think I posted a question about the slowness about the time of the British flooding... then today, it seems to have regained the loading speed.... (its now faster then the TD....) |
