MG TD TF 1500 - Some one needs assistance in Conneticut

Y'all...A renegade from the MGB site, i.e. me, wants to buy a MG TF and I have seen one on ebay which really interests me. It is in Essex Connecticut. Is there anyone who lives near that location that would be willing to carry out a inspection for me? I would of course pay all expenses for your time and travel. Have always wanted a TF and at my age I think if I dont do it now then it will never happen. If anyone from here wants to run away to MGB site then I will be selling Old Yeller when I finally get my TF.

LaVerne - sorry; CT is too far for me to go. I believe that you will find that this is TF6532, with engine XPEG535. I've written the seller to verify that the engine number is still the same.

Other than tidying under the hood, it all looks OK in the pictures.

I didn't find an ebay listing for a TF in Essex. I assume the auction has ended. I would be willing to inspect it if it is re-listed.

I heard from the owner with photos of the original Guarantee plate and engine plate - numbers seen to match. A July 1954 car, an early TF1500.
