MG TD TF 1500 - Steady Bar Brackets

Anyone have a picture of their steady bar and bracket? I'm not sure how these are mounted. I know their bar hole is in the rear, but does the L plate face up or down? B&Gs illustration shows the hole on top, but I think mine will hit the radiator support bar if mounted as they show. Any clues? PJ
