MG TD TF 1500 - Steering wheel cover?

Does anybody have any advice as to where I can find a steering wheel cover for the TF? I am having difficulty finding one due to the diameter of the wheel and the small cross section of the rim.
Any advice (esp Australian sources) appreciated. Regards, Richard.

I found one for the origional wheel at a local auto parts store,,, no problem with the diameter,, but I had to wrap it over itself because of the small diameter. It lasted for many miles befor being replaced with a MOTO Lita wheel

If you know anyone into vintage golf, or have a golf repair facility nearby, they could do it up with old style leather wrap and whipping. They can also make it as thick, or thin as you want to fit your hand.
