MG TD TF 1500 - Steering wheel ctr

Is there a std color for the steering wheel ctr hub? Need to freshen mine up.

Moss sells a 'bronze' color that is close.

If you pop out the "MG" center from the dome there will be a small ring of paint that was covered from day1. That should be the original color.
The new reproductions (mine from the UK) are a bit off color.

Thanks to everyone. i did try the archives and was able to pull up some good info. i was hoping someone may have found a duplicolor or Rustoleum paint that matched well. i will take a look at Moss.

I think just about all of us at one time walked down the paint aisle looking for that special color. I know I have, but with no luck. I understand that Moss has put some time into getting the right color mixed up, which their selling now. Is it the exact match for the 60+ year old color, I have no idea, but it's close enough for me and that's what I use. It really looks nice. PJ
