MG TD TF 1500 - Steering wheel restoration

I have a need to restore a steering wheel on a '54 TF. I would like to match the original finish, pearl grey. Frame is still good. Anyone know who may be able to do this please?

Ian,

I have the molds to restore the TD/TF steering wheels and offer the marbleized pearl grey color in addition to other colors.

The hubs are ultrasonically examined for soundness, stainless steel spokes are renewed if needed and a new modern urethane rim is cast around the metal frame in the correct finger grip pattern.

I am located in the USA. I can suggest a couple of AU suppliers if you would like to stay within continents.

Many thanks Ben, I was hoping for a UK firm as the owner is a resident of the UK.

I am sure I saw an article some years ago on this subject, but I cannot locate it.

Ian, You might give this firm a call to check about restoration of the TF wheel. I have seen some of their work and it is first rate.
