MG TD TF 1500 - Sunken floor = pain in the
LHD. Does anyone else find the footwell to be a PITA? I know the frame is in the way on the left but if they couldn't run the well all the way over to the side of the cowl, why..... The left edge is exactly where my left heel needs to rest and I find myself working just a bit too hard keeping my left foot from sliding down and getting in the way of my right. I may fill it with something temporarily just to see. First world problem, I know. |

Cut a piece of 9 ply wood (or any 1/2" thick wood) to fit the well and level the floor. Cheers, Frank |

Why do LH drive TF's and TD's have a well when RH don't. My shoes would double up as canoes but I have no problem driving my TF (RHD).My only problem is the tunnel is where my clutch foot needs to be! Ray TF 2884 |

I think it was a special extra for the American market. Kind of like a cup holder now. Wow look Ma - recessed floor mat. :) Rod |

The exhaust would probably fry a RHD footwell. Matthew. |
