MG TD TF 1500 - T9 5 speed Speedo Drive Way Off
Took the TF on a long run a couple of days ago and found out the speedometer gearing on my new T9 5 speed is way off with the 4.1 MGA gearing in the rear, approx 15 mph slow. Who is selling an adapter that can correct this issue? I'm using a GPS temporary speedo now. PJ |

Give these guys a call. I have sent many gauges to them in the past. http://www.speedograph-richfield.com Gary |

When I did my five-speed about 10 years ago these are the folks that were recommended. I don't know if they're still around but give them a call. I was very satisfied and the little gearbox is still doing great. A.C.I. Engineering 6728 Lovers lane Portage, MI 49002 269-327-1991 |

Declan can do it, but will need a percentage factor, like 15mph out at 60mph. Check it against a couple of sources, there are Apps for phones. Most GPS have an accurate readout. Verify odometer is suffering the same “error” to verify instrument integrity. One of the Apps incorporates an odometer. Peter |

My speedo on my modern midget was way off, showed 45mph at road speed of 60mph but the speedo recalibration took care of it. |
