MG TD TF 1500 - TD Brake Master Cylinder
Hey guys! I have a leaky brake master cylinder in my TD. During my frame up restore I put a Moss repop in with the thoughts of saving time and money. Now that the repop is leaking I was thinking of rebuilding the original and have it ready when I pull the leaking cylinder out. I am assuming the leaking cylinder will have pits in the sleeve. Where is the best place to get my original re-sleeved? Does Apple Hydraulics do this work? Also at one time I thought I heard someone was rebuilding these with a stainless steel sleeve? Any thoughts are welcome.
Thanks, Rich www.52MGTD.com |

Everyone is going to have favorites, but I use Mark Frappier of Agawam, MA. Old-school, done right the first time. I don't use White Post. Tom Lange MGT Repair |

Tom do you have contact information for him? Is the stainless sleeve an option? Thanks |

I believe this is his number - Call at 800-528-5235. And I do believe he can do stainless or brass. Agawam, MA Tom |

Stainless steel is the option most favoured in the UK, and I have heard of no issues with it. Dave H |

I last talked to mark frappier in the fall of 2005 when he did my master. At the time he was doing stainless only. The number Tom gave is correct. I also have 413-789-8665. He is local to me so I was able to drop off and pick up. He has an amazing collection of scale motorized vehicles that he builds. He did a wonderful job on my master cylinder. |
