| i have the mk1153 with 2 fuel pumps would like to replace with solid state but look alike. any suggestions. thanks les |

| No problem, the solid state SU Fuel Pumps are identical to the older ones externally.All they have dcone is to replace the internal switching gear with transistors. Other brands are not even close in appearance! See the Moss or Abingdon Spares Catalogs. Or send your pumps to Lawrie Rhodes for conversion. See the TSO! |

| Don - Lawrie doesn't do a solid state modification to the SU fuel pumps. At the present time, I am the only one doing any kind of a solid state modification to the pumps. Les - Don is ccorrect about the all electronic SU fuel pumps that now carried by Moss and other parts suppliers. I can restore your existing pumps and convert them to solid state, but I cannot guarentee a swift turn around time. I am recovering from a (much to) close encounter with a hydraulic log splitter, having caught the tip of my left index finger between a piece of wood and the ram, shortening it (the finger) by a half an inch. I am still working on fuel pumps, but with one finger pointing in the air, my progress is quite slow. I am telling people to expect a turn around of 8 weeks or more.
