MG TD TF 1500 - TD MkII value?
Any thoughts on the $ value of the following: '53 TD MkII (TD/C serial #), Not orig. motor #, missing orig. air cleaner/manifold. Does have front Andrex shocks, twin fuel pumps, 1-1/2 carbs, bulge on right side of hood. Drove it briefly- runs/shifts well. Possibly the best orig. wood I have seen, sheet metal very nice, chrome fair-poor, and paint fair, interior is vinyl, otherwise complete (side curtains, top, instruments, etc) decent car. This car could be driven as is, or would be a real nice one to restore. Also, do any records exist of MkII motor numbers/head casting #'s? My research only found that the TD3 was not added to MkII motors until after this one's chassis #. |

Will, There were 102 right hand drive Mark II's built, 51 for export and 51 for the home market. I have a 51 MK II that was exported to Dublin. George |
