MG TD TF 1500 - TD Pedal Rubber Boot
I have bought a new rubber boot for the pedals on the TD and also the sheet metal fixing plate. Unfortunately the hump in the gear box cover (the one which accommodates the starter pinion) prevents the boot fitting properly. Can anyone please advise on the following :- Does the boot fit under or over the floor board How does it miss the hump in the gear box cover What screws into the two threaded holes in the master cylinder box upper flange My car is UK spec Cheers Jan T |

Jan I've emailed you a couple of photos of my TD as it was being dismantled. May help. |

Jan I got the rubber boot to fit on top of the floor board of my TF, but had to cut one corner off the mild steel fixing plate (Moss) as it would not lie flat over the gear box cover bulge. John |
