MG TD TF 1500 - TD & TF Floor Boards
Short question. Are they the same? PJ |

Paul, Moss is showing different part numbers for each, if that is any help. Phil |

Must be something different about them. I wish I knew what it is, as I have drawings for TD boards but not TF. I thought they might be the same. I'm making new flooring for the TF, using the old ones for a pattern. They look good and fit properly, so I guess alls well. PJ |

I suspect it is the mounting points for the seat slides that are different. Check your TD Drawing vrs the old TF floorboards. |

Don, you mentioned seat "slides", my TF seats do not move fore and aft, their hinged and fixed in one position. Are they right? PJ |
Paul Jennings |
Thanks Bud, just what I needed! cam |

Paul, your seat "slides" are hinged and also move fore and aft. The release lever is just behind the hinge on one side, same as TD, TF, MGA, & MGB. You can see the levers clearly in the picture on page 52 un the US Moss catalog. For most of us the seats are always as far back as they will go. |

Thanks Don. Even though the seats are out, I never looked under them and just assumed they were in a fixed position due to the collapsible steering wheel and adjustable pedals. PJ |

Found the slides! Something else to rebuild (Grin). |
