MG TD TF 1500 - TF 7309 Has Arrived
I brought my TF home to Virginia from Pennsylvania where it has been for at least 51 years yesterday except for the chassis and spare rear end which will remain in storage for a short while. My son Sean and girlfriend Amelia helped me unload it from the van and arrange the body. The PO is looking for the key, otherwise it seem to all be with me now. I'll soon be taking it to my basement workshop.

Charlie, It looks like a very good starting point. I hope you need that key in the near future. |

Charlie, Congrats on bringing the new baby home! RE: Ignition key - TF7309 should have the letters "FA" stamped on the face of the ignition switch to the left of the slot for the key. It should also have three numbers that range from "501" to "625" to the right of the key slot. That is the key code for your car. Using the FA XXX key code, Triple-C Motor Accessories cut new keys for the ignition switch on my TF7211. They also stamped the key code on the key. Perfect fit and operation. Charlie, Congrats! The dash looks great and in nice condition. You have a nice template to match colors. I see the grill but missing the nose piece and slats. There is a complete TF she'll on Ebay right now. #191447241235 |

Interesting that the ignition placement on a left hand drive is the same as a right hand.

I'm missing the oil pressure gauge, and I'm hoping its with the chassis. |
