MG TD TF 1500 - TF Dashboard

I believe that I have very original car, however I am not sure about dashboard color and configuration. I see cigarette lighter on the right of the dashboard. Usually there is MG logo there. Is this a modification by the previous owner or a dealer option? Also the original color of the car is ivory with red interior. However dashboard is red not ivory. Should the dashboard match the exterior or the interior?

Dash combination is correct. Red dash to match the red interior. The cigarette lighter was not factory. A small MG octagon medallion went there on the dash.

B.G, looks like you have the factory paint there. Note how the area under the scuttle (above the dash) is also painted to match the upholstery, as original. Can I ask your chassis /car I.D. number please?
