MG TD TF 1500 - TF Fuel Connections
Gentlemen: As I previously indicated, the PO of my 54 TF had put a Metro engine in the car. This meant that all of the OEM engine compartment fuel connections were removed/changed to enable fuel delivery to carbs on the opposite (left side) of the engine. I'm restoring to original thus does someone have a photo of the fuel lines (flexible and ridgid) in the engine compartment that they can share? The resources that I have do not show this for the TF. Many thanks Rod Murray |

It took me a little while to get the sheet metal off, but here ya go....just kidding. Save it and blow it it up so you can see the lines better..

If your TF had the firewall fuel pump it will look like this TD.

Rod - For the fittings you will need, see the chart, Fuel Line Fittings in the SU Fuel Pump Articles section of my web site at: http://homepages.donobi.net/sufuelpumps/ You will need one double ended banjo fitting (Fig. 4) for the rear carb, one single ended banjo fitting (Fig. 3) and two banjo bolts (Fig. 8), plus 4 fiber washers to fit over the banjo bolts (2 per each). Cheers - Dave |

Hi Colin, What's that small line that looks like it el's into the intake manifold, a line to a vacuum gauge? As I remember, your car is still mainly "as original", and looks great. thanks, Al |
