Thanks guys, quite helpful! Nice photos Bob! Matthew, is the back of the box on your car made from a fiber board type material? It doesn't appear to be wood in the photo, or is it? PJ |
Paul S Jennings |
PJ, fiber board. Same material that was used for the kick panels and E brake cover. |

Thanks Frank. That's what I thought, but wanted to be sure. PJ |

Paul, I have an original TF right side glove box, nfs, that I will be glad to loan you if it will help. Let me know and I will put it in the mail to you. Larry |
Larry Brown |
Thanks Larry, but before doing that, I have a perfect diagram for the fiber board tops, but I have no measurements for the steel bottoms. I have a sheet metal brake and 4 foot bench shears to cut and bend the sheet metal, but no drawings for the bottoms. Are these available? PJ |
Paul S Jennings |
Paul, I can't see good enough to get measurements. That is why I am offering you the use of the box, so you can measure, see how it all goes together, and so forth. Let me know if I can help. |

Any use ? Jan T |

Larry, I'm keeping your offer in mind if I can't get the drawings for the metal base. Much appreciated. Will get back later. PJ |
Paul S Jennings |
Jan, Thanks for the pics! I have an excellent drawing for the tops, but nothing for the metal bottoms. Working on it though. If I can't find one, I'll probably take Larry up on his offer. PJ |

Hi Paul, I have made up one new box - metal part. The original had been butchered for a radio. It was an easy job and didn't require any special tools. I bent the angles in a vice and the curved bits over my knee! If you need a paper template let me know. It won't cost much to send it to you in an envelope. Cheers Jan |
J Targosz |
Much appreciated Jan! email me for my address. PJ |
