MG TD TF 1500 - TF Seat Runners
I was just about to take the seat runners from my TF to be zinc plated when I found that one of the ones that fit to the seat is missing. It's the more simple one without the adjustment. Neither Brown and Gammons or Moss show them in their catalogues but I have come across them before. It's possible that I recall them from either a MGB or midget or possibly a Morris Minor. Does anyone know if any of these cars used a similar runner? I will probably try a posting on other MG sites. Jan T |

Jan, Angloparts identifiy TD/TF seat slides in their catalogue, page 95. Try www.angloparts.com and they operate out of Belgium. I guess that is up your neck of the woods. Good luck Kev S TF6288 |

Thanks for the advice Kev. The MGB boys tell me the runner is the same as a MGB one and have given me the name of a firm that break MGBs for spares. I will order a runner and place a post if it is the same in case anyone else every has the same problem as me. Jan T |

Had confirmation from Andy Jennings mg spares that the TF seat runners are the same as a MGB. One is on its way to me for a fiver. Jan T |

Hello Jan. Are you still in the need for a seat runner. I may have an original from a 1954 T.F. 1250 . Please contact me by e mail. Thank -you John |

Hi John Not certain how to email you directly but thank you for your offer. I have now purchased one from a MG A/B breaker in the UK. The cost was only £8 delivered to my door. I don't know what postage from Canada would be but I am just about to send a part to Hungary and the cost is £40. Once again many thanks Jan T |
