MG TD TF 1500 - TF Starter Handle brackets
Could anyone tell me if the three starter handle retaining brackets screwed into the rear interior panel of the TF are painted in trim colour or black? John |

John, The ones on my car are black with black screws. Pretty sure it's original. But can't be definite. Dan H. |

.....And whilst we are on the subject of crank handles, does anyone have information, or even a good yarn about wether they should be mounted in the clips pointing Left, or Right? The rail above the handle is recessed to accomodate left OR right and most of the Australian TF's have the handle nearest the kerb (passenger) side, but then I see the Californian car in the post "Unrestored TF" with its handle on the drivers side. Maybe management wanted the handles on the kerb side but forgot to tell the workers? Matthew |

Mathew The Brown and Gammmons Catalogye has a drawing showing the handle on the driver's side. Whether the drawing is meant to depict a LHD or RHD car I know not. John |
