MG TD TF 1500 - TF Wiper motor

My restoration has commenced with all things electrical. So far I have only been stumped by my windshield wiper ( I seem to have this problem with every car I have ever restored!)The commutator is ok, but the armature winding is pooched and the worm is badly worn on the end of the shaft. Does any body know if this part is available or rebuildable by anyone? Also, can I use a wiper or armature part from another british car of the same era? If yes, which parts are compatible?
