MG TD TF 1500 - TF wiring harness question
I am helping a friend with his wiring harness on his TF. Does the wiring harness, as it heads towards the back of the car, go between the frame and brake master cylinder box? There is a small channel back there but seems a little tight for the harness. Or does it just go around the box all together? Thank You Peter |

Between the pedal box and the frame Peter. |

Peter - As LaVerne stats, it goes between the pedal box and the frame (it really does fit). I pushed a piece of 12 gage wire (house wiring, solid wire - it can be anything from 14 to 10 gage) through and hooked or soldered the twisted wires in the harness to it and pulled them through with the solid wire. I just did this and it is a tight pull. I pulled it from rear to front through the slot by bundling the harness lumps with some slick duct tape and then easing it through without tearing up the loom. As I recall, it goes under the master cylinder bolts that go through the box. The way to line it up once it is through there is to have the two green brake switch wires come out right at the switch.
