MG TD TF 1500 - The Original TF Midget,Thankyou.

Hi All,

I recently looked up 'The Original TF midget' site which was initiated by various TF enthusiasts some years ago.

Congratulations to Matthew Magilton from Melbourne,Australia who has updated the work on the true original detail on TF's.
Matt's knowledge of these cars has been gained from many years of examining TF's which have not been plundered by time and other factors! Factory photos also have assisted in gleaning what was actually specified. He also has the fortune of owning a very original TF1500.

Their have been many 'myths' created during the last ten years or so by others surrounding detail with regard to TF's.

Although Concours work is not for everyone, those owners/restorers who want to find out about how their cars really were on leaving the MG Car Co. all those years ago,the detail raised in this publication
makes for a superb reference point.

Thankyou Matt. for taking the time and interest to research the info and then sharing this material with all of us.

Cheers for now.

Rob,

Thanks for the info. Although I don't have a TF, the information is of great interest to me. I'm sure there are many TF owners who will enjoy the read.

Thanks again
